I was born on October 8, 1969 at 16:16 local time in Vilnius, Lithuania – that little known part of Northern Europe where Norse mythology still coexists with Christian cathedrals and an old Viking castle guards one of the oldest universities in Central and Eastern Europe.
My interest in astrology began when I was a teenager trying to better understand myself and my friends. At that time we calculated charts by hand using ephemerides and drew them on paper. Astrology was becoming almost mainstream, conferences started popping up, lectures transcribed and books translated.
I have been reading charts for clients and friends ever since. I also love reading children’s charts for their parents, because I see a talented young individual where the parents may see just a little kid.
I like to help people move towards appreciating themselves and their loved ones more. Some of my friends nicknamed me the Soother because I like to encourage others whatever the challenges they may be facing.
I’ve learned from many astrologers such as Alexander Kamensky (Absalom Podvodny), Anthony Picco and Steven Forrest.
I share my journey in Old Stars, New Light – a book based on a series of discussions with my mentor Elias from 2013 to 2022. The book is in the pre-production stage and will be available on Amazon this year.
I also like to practice Tarot and wield Runes – surprise passions discovered during the creation of the book. Both Tarot and Runes added further texture and dimensions to the Old Stars, New Light, and to my life in general.
I truly believe that everything is connected and there are no accidents.
My day job is as a software solutions architect for a financial firm in New York. This grew out of a background in applied mathematics and film directing. Whether I read a source code for a software system or a birth chart, I see the elegance and the integrity of the design. More importantly, I appreciate unique ways in which the chart is reflected by the individual, and the joy of exploring the map together. The instantaneous maps of Tarot and Runes add more color or stand on their own as a playful way to brainstorm any situation.
I live in Staten Island, NY with my wife and our beloved Staffordshire terrier. I can be reached through the contact form.
